Sometimes we read copy for a clock for sale claiming it is "rare" when, in fact, like this one, it is a production clock and not rare at all. However, this one's pretty scarce. In the 28 years we've been in business this is only the second one we've ever had to sell. Scarce.
We've owned this particular intricately carved "Capistrano" model from the Gazo Family Clock Factory for many years but need to clear some wall space for new clocks coming in. Our loss – your gain!
Physical: The alder case, which measures 12"w x 41"h x 6"d is in excellent original condition. It has hung in a hallway in our home and not in direct sunlight so the case is not bleached out.
Mechanical: The eight-day chiming movement was just checked by our technician and is in excellent running order.
Comments: The beautiful, classic "baroque" style of this clock has long been in demand through generations of changing fashion. This one will look great in your home and not take up a lot of space in the process. Give us a call to start the process; we expect it won't last long on our site.

Note Regarding Gazo Music Box Repair: We occasionally hear from a distressed Gazo owner who has a dead music box (sometimes it's just the batteries). The Reuge Company is out of business and there are no parts. BUT... and here's the exciting part... if the motor in your Gazo/Reuge music box is burned out we can likely replace it. Again, we have an expert Gazo repair department. Let us know if you are no longer hearing beautiful music from your Gazo music box!
